poetry.... ish

I couldnt find any really good poems, so im just gonna post some lyrics, frankly i dont care if you dont like them, cause you dont have to read them. well here they are:

Wet My Bed - Stone Temple Pilots.
Hey everybody, where did Mary go?
Where did Mary go?
And where's my only cigarette?
Please think for me, I can't bare to
I'll just lie here for a while
Wet myself, wet my bed
I've readied it all for her, you know
Clean sheets, incense, a lots of fluffy pillows
Now soiled
And where's my cigarette?
Did you check the bathroom, the bathtub?
She sleeps there sometimes
Water cleanses, you know
Washes dirt away, makes new
Maybe she, maybe she, maybe she, maybe, maybe she swam away

Now this song, is one of the weirder ones ive ever heard, it has no rhyming scheme, no chorus and not really any music to it. this was off the first album I ever bought; Core, by the stone temple pilots, which in all seriousness are a very talented band for their time peiod. however this song struck me as very odd, and the way that i interpret it is of a man whose either stoned, drunk, hungover or crazy who is looking for a woman that he is absolutely obsessed with ( she totally stole his last cigarrette too!) then he deducts that she has "swam away" which i believe is code for dead. this song is pretty good, you should totally listen to it.

Ramble On -Led Zeppelin

Leaves are falling all around, It's time I was on my way.
Thanks to you, I'm much obliged for such a pleasant stay.
But now it's time for me to go. The autumn moon lights my way.
For now I smell the rain, and with it pain, and it's headed my way.
Sometimes I grow so tired, but I know I've got one thing I got to do...

Ramble On, And now's the time, the time is now, to sing my song.
I'm goin' 'round the world, I got to find my girl, on my way.
I've been this way ten years to the day, Ramble On,
Gotta find the queen of all my dreams.

Got no time to for spreadin' roots, The time has come to be gone.
And to' our health we drank a thousand times, it's time to Ramble On.

Mine's a tale that can't be told, my freedom I hold dear.
How years ago in days of old, when magic filled the air.
T'was in the darkest depths of Mordor, I met a girl so fair.
But Gollum, and the evil one crept up and slipped away with her, her, her....yeah.

Gonna ramble on, sing my song. Gotta keep-a-searchin' for my baby...
Gonna work my way, round the world. I can't stop this feelin' in my heart
Gotta keep searchin' for my baby. I can't find my bluebird

ramble on is close to one of my favorite zeppelin songs, and the tune to it is awesome. also i think the lyrics tale an epic tale of adventure, seeing as its based off of the hobit and lord of the rings books by j.r tolken
it is a most excellent song and if you havent heard it, you should totally check it out.

squirrels

Oh squirrels. The furry little tree hermits that eat various treats at the price of getting close enough to take a picture of the furry bastard. I think squirrels are cool, I respect them, and I have no major quarrel with them or any of their kind. However I hate squirrels from the city, because they're just as obnoxious as the people. How many squirrels have you been chased by people? In all seriousness I have been chased by a plethora of squirrels in my time on the streets of t.o. Now, even residents of this joyous merry city know that these viscous squirrels exist and, I assume, all held a meeting about avoiding these squirrels- and didn't encore me. However over time I have learnt the hard rules of life via trial and error ( very much so failure) and I have realized the common grounds: leave them alone and they'll consider not bothering you. Now, if visiting t.o. Then learn these squirrel freindly rules;
1. Don't go to public parks with food.
2. If you do have food, don't put it down.
3. Don't eat outside a resteraunt on a patio ( I bet you were wondering why they were so empty, it wasn't because of the smell)
4. If, by some act of insanity, you feed a squirrel in a park, make sure you bring enough food to escape alive from the rest of the evil squirrels.
5.never under any circumstance, ever chase a squirrel, they don't think it's funny and they probably have more friends that would stick up for him than you do.
6. dont move into apartments where your balcony is connecting toa tree, because that will become squirrel clan territory within minutes of taking a sandwhich out to enjoy a brisk summer evening.
7. keep up your moral, they can smell fear.
Now that you've learned the rules enjoy Toronto and all of it's wonders. Next week: homeless and how to protect yourself from them.

graffiiti.

graffitti, the most fun thing to see when im walking around. i find grafiitti on trains raly interesting to see because they're like moving murals. to me it is a form of artwork and should never be stopped. in fact in mexico they have graffitti competions where they paint a huge wall white and get contestants to tag them. the winner gets a  taco or something, but its still pretty cool. i dont believe in tagging homes, or buildings, or small thins but those little spaces under the highway overpasses, sure why not? even the walls along a highway, i believe: knock yourself out.

2011 waddya think?

well its mid way through the school term and i think im screwed for school. i have not done many assignments in any of my 7 classes and im probably going to fail this one, however its worth it. Live life the way you want to, nobody gets out alive anyways. i dont neccesarily hate classes or assignments- however, editorials totally suck- i'm just lazy. procrastinators unite! - tommorrow! but seriously if i dont get my ass in gear im done so from now on (new years actually) i have vowed to actually try to think about maybe committing to thinking about possibly... doing homework. aside from that i have no quarrels with calsses or the faccist system under which it is run. soo... what did everybody do over new years and the christmas holidays, how was your jesus- day supper?

who.

it seems pretty natural to me that i would be a who. i love christmas, howvere not for the presents, they are great though, but because of how much of my family i see. im usually a very social person while visiting family, however, i dont get to see all of them during the year, and christmas is the time to chill with family.
however... if there is something dissapointing about christmas, its the akward aunts or turnips. i've mentioned this edible "thing"- if you will - before in my thanksgiving post, but i believe that a second helping of loathing may be required. its discusting, pasty and discusting. it takes something like 3 hours to beat it to a pulp before it can be boiled for 6 hours. im not picky at all, i will eat the weirdest foods, but in my opinion, if something takes that long to cook, it clearly doesnt want to be eaten. otherwise christmas is a real hootful of yowzas and i enjoy it very much so.
